Dr. Yuko Yamamoto was born in Kyoto, Japan. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Oriental Medicine degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences.
Growing up in Japan, she participated in many activities outside of school, including ballet, gymnastics, handball, and cheerleading. She came to the U.S. in 2004 to follow her dream of becoming a doctor of chiropractic medicine and oriental medicine practitioner. She continues to lead an active lifestyle and is no stranger to injuries or pain and knows what it takes to heal. She has developed her treatment style to see the body as a whole unit and figure out what causes imbalances within. These treatments are designed to increase the body’s self-healing process without medicine or surgery. Her education and experience allows her to recognize conditions from both chiropractic and holistic viewpoints. She gets great joy out of helping others regain their maximum lifestyle and stay pain free.
"Pain" is like a weed. This "weed of pain" is very stubborn and tough to get rid of on your own. Its nutrients come from stress that we accumulate from physical actions, such as sitting for long periods of time, using the computer all day, bad posture, and emotional stresses. This weed spreads in our body without us knowing.
Chiropractic and acupuncture treatments are to find the root of the weed and get rid of it without medicine. It enhances the body's own natural healing power to create a pain free life and avoid future injuries.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
